Founded in 1979 by Christopher Clark (Harvard-educated past National Chairman of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and former General Manager of Italy's prestigious Spoleto Festival), Great Performance Tours is dedicated to offering the finest in classical music and opera vacation packages.

A Great Performance Tour is geared to today's sophisticated music lover. Tickets and accommodations are arranged by one reservation and one check, with all the bother of coordinating bookings done for you. All of our tours are researched and reserved far in advance for exceptional seats. Transportation is also provided for all of our included events unless within easy walking distance. We budget ample free time into our intineraries, knowing that our travelers have different interests.
